Based in North-West England, we work across NHS, local government and development systems where ambition is high and delivery is complex.
The biggest opportunities in health infrastructure rarely sit neatly inside a single organisation, discipline, or place. They live in the gaps between them - that's the territory Loxie works in.
We're a front-end infrastructure clarity practice. We help public sector leaders and developers spatially translate health ambition into whole-place, healthy infrastructure, before it gets lost in translation on the page.
We get involved before the brief is fixed, before procurement begins, and before the decisions that are hardest to reverse get made. We don't produce hundred-page reports that sit on a shelf. We work at the exact point where things are still flexible — because that's when independence can actually protect a project, not just comment on it afterwards.
We believe better projects start with better clients. Our role is to help organisations become clearer, more aligned and more confident before they ask others to design or deliver. Our role is simple: ensure that what gets designed is something the system is actually ready to deliver.
One vision. Two perspectives.
Founded in 2023 by Emma Ingham and Christine Winstanley - Loxie emerged from over 15 years of working together to shape health infrastructure.
Between us, we've navigated multi-million-pound NHS transformations, led health developments, shaped health-led regeneration, and been part of designing local partnerships that bridge health and place.
